Free Men’s Group in Northwest Arkansas
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
A place to connect with others, have real conversations, and grow alongside men who are showing up for themselves and each other.
It’s Easy to Feel Like You’re Doing This All Alone
You’re handling what needs to be handled, showing up for work, your family, and your responsibilities. You’re the reliable one. The one people count on.
But when it comes to your own life, there’s not always a place to talk about what you’re carrying. Most conversations stay on the surface, or you just keep it to yourself.
You don’t necessarily need therapy. You’re just tired of doing it on your own.
You want a space where you can be real, hear from other men, and feel a sense of belonging and connection that’s hard to find elsewhere.
Maybe even a place where you’re challenged to grow a bit along the way.
Support, Connection, and Conversation — Without the Therapy Setting
This group is a space for men to come together, talk openly, and support each other through life.
This is not a therapy group.
There’s no diagnosis, no treatment plan, and no pressure to share more than you want. Instead, it’s a group of men creating space for:
Honest conversation about what’s going on in your life
Hearing from others who are navigating similar challenges
Building connection that feels real, not forced or surface-level
Showing up consistently for yourself and others and growing over time.
Some weeks you might share more. Other weeks you just might listen.
Either way, you don’t have to do it alone anymore.

NWA Men’s Circle FAQ
-
No. There is no diagnosis, treatment, or clinical structure. It is not designed to treat any mental health diagnoses.
The NWA Men’s Circle was designed to create a space for community and connection among men in Northwest Arkansas. While the group may have supportive value, it is not a “support group” in the same sense of a typical therapy group.
It is a space for men to connect, talk honestly, and support each other through life.
-
Yes. All men are welcome here regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, sexuality, and more. This space is open to both cis and trans men.
We only ask that you help maintain the circle as a space where differences are respected and judgements are withheld to create a place of support for all who are willing to uphold this ideal.
-
No. We presently meet at Unity Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas because they were gracious enough to let us use the space at no cost.
Men of all walks of life are welcome including those that are religious, spiritual, agnostic, or atheistic.
-
Not at all.
You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you want. Some will talk more, some will mostly listen. It may depend on the day and your mood and energy level.
-
Whatever’s real for you. That might be stress, relationships, work, fatherhood, feeling stuck, or just what’s been on your mind lately. Conversations may sometimes go deeper than what most guys are used to — but without pressure.
-
This group is for men who are:
Feeling isolated or wanting more connection
Looking for real conversations, not just surface-level talk
Open to hearing from and supporting other men
You don’t need to have everything figured out, you just have to be willing to show up.
-
No long-term commitment is required. Groups work best when a consistent core group develops. Familiar faces help build trust and make conversations more meaningful over time, but you’re welcome to attend as desired and as life allows.
-
This is a free, ongoing group.
-
That’s completely understandable.
A lot of guys feel unsure at first, and we’ve created something that is not a common these days as it used to be. You’re welcome to come check it out and see how it feels. There’s no pressure to commit to anything.
-
This group is focused on connection and community - something that has been lost over the past few decades. Both Ian and myself facilitate the group as two guys who wanted to create a space to break the crisis of connection among men.
The Man of ACT-ion group is a structured, skills-based therapy group to learn tools from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). You can find out more about that group on this page. -
That’s what a lot of guys say at first.
You don’t have to be a certain “type” of person to show up. Most of the men here are just regular guys who got tired of keeping everything to themselves and decided to try something different.
-
No.
The goal isn’t to sit around and vent without direction. It’s to have real conversations, hear different perspectives, and support each other in actually moving forward. It’s a space to be challenged but also supported in growing as a person.
